Publisher SEGA, alongside developers Relic Entertainment and Creative Assembly, have put together an interesting promotion for gamers this Valentine’s week. First, you can play for free (if you don’t already own them) Total War: Attila (nominated as one of PC’s best games of 2015), Dawn of War II, and Company of Heroes II for the entire week. If you head on over to SEGA’s MLNW3 website and register for their newsletter, you can then pick a faction to side with corresponding with one of the temporary free game offerings, the more you play for your faction the higher the chance of winning some free DLC for that game.
Sure, it’s an incentive for gamers to buy the whole game, but those three strategy titles are very good games. To sweeten the pot even more, they are all on sale this week for 75% off. Not enough you say? Well every 48 hours SEGA is giving newsletter subscribers free Steam codes for participants. As of right now, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Binary Domain, and Streets of Rage II are being given away via emailed codes. In one day that giveaway will change to Gunstar Heroes, Renegade Ops, and Vikings Battle for Asgard. Free games, DLC, and free game time with 3 great strategy titles, hard to passing up such a bloody lovely gesture.
