Phantasy Star 2 Online English Servers Open to the West

This is not a screenshot from the English server. Go create an account and log-in to see what the GUI looks like in English.

Phantasy Star Online’s cult following started with its debut on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. 15 years later and players in the West can finally access the English translation servers for Phantasy Star Online 2. An IP block that has kept Western players from accessing the game appears to have been removed.

The English servers were originally intended for South Asia players. Sega has promised a North American release for PSO2, but there is no concrete release date. If you’re interested in playing PSO2, you can download the client and create an account here.
