Deus Ex: Human Revolution was finally a return to form to the original Deus Ex, a game that set gamers into an excited frenzy over the action RPG hybrid back in mid-2000. I’m still spinning the Micheal McCann soundtrack in my playlists since beating Human Revolution a few years ago (yes, McCann is composing Mankind Divided #OMGYES). While the original sneak trailer was shown months ago, the game now has an official release date of February 23, 2016.

Mankind Divided will take place two years after it’s predecessor, now focused on the rift forming between augments and the rest of humanity. Early views of the game indicate a noticeable advance in visual effects from Human Revolution and a more dynamic story hinging on total chaos or civil strife over the nature of what makes us human, what it means to be alive. GWTW will be sure to fill you on how it explodes our video cards, and melts our brains as soon as we get our hands on the title.

In the meantime, hyperfans can take advantage of Square Enix’s interesting take on preorder specials. Dubbed “Augment  Your Preorder” depending on how many preorders they receive for this upcoming hot title, gamers will unlock the next tier of preorder bonuses. These range from digital comic books, soundtrack samples (that’s my thing), all the way up to access to the game 5 days earlier than retail launch.
