Bertram Fiddle – Episode 2 – Kickstarter Support Needed Before Campaign Expires

By jove! What is this! A game that has no qualms about advertising itself as a comedic point and click adventure? Most bobbles in this genre are not afternoonified enough to convert me into a gigglemug. Don’t sell me a dog you say chap? But perhaps I will anyway, you see, Bertram Fiddle Episode 2 is on the horizon. Its Kickstarter campaign began earlier this month and has only 6 days to go, and more Fiddle adventures would be grand.

Fancy sayings aside, there are plenty of reasons to take a gander at this crowdfunding campaign. Adventures of Bertram Fiddle initial release was April 2015 on Steam. Developer Rumpus earned high praise from the overwhelming majority of published game journalists and players. Bertram is a fountain of puns, and embodies a quaint charm that’s endearing and memorable. While the setting is Victorian, it doesn’t fall into overindulgence of lengthy or obscure phrases. Bertram Fiddle’s delivers sharp grin-inducing wit, and a distinguished cartoon portrayal of 1800s England.

Developer Rumpus wants to make Episode 2 bigger, and better, and more “puzzlier”. They are almost there with $26,126 pledged (at time this article published), with a goal of $37,906 overall. Considering the first episode had me smiling and chuckling throughout my play time, how could I not want more? If you missed out on the release of the first episode of Betram Fiddle, the Kickstarter promotional video embodies most of what I enjoyed in the first chapter; giving a taste of its distinct art design and fanciful humor that proves this series’ continued worth. If you decide to give Bertram Fiddle a chance, don’t blame me if you pop a button off your gas-pipes with a guffaw; and it ends up taking out the neighborhood cat’s eye. I already told you this game could make a stuffed bird laugh!
